In modern democratic States, elections are the foundation of the principle of democracy, it is the main form of expression of the will of citizens and the form of realization of people’s sovereignty. Participation in elections makes it possible to exercise the right to participate in the management of the affairs of society and the state, as well as control over the formation and activities of both Representative and Executive authorities.
