Annotation: This article provides windows into the EU experience in the field of youth policy. The main documents of the European Union on youth rights – the Lisbon Treaty on the European Union, the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights have been analyzed by author. It is emphasized that the EU mechanisms in the field of protection of youth rights serve to supplement the national legislation of the member states. The author concludes that the EU experience in the field of youth rights can serve to coordinate and promote interstate cooperation at the regional level.
